Here are some pictures I took on my phone from some recent events.

First up we have some photos from the studio where we were working on a few new songs for fun. Who knows where they will turn up in the future.

Then there are some from our trip up to Rochester this weekend, which was written about below by Ian. The venue had a lot of awesome paintings up, mostly portraits of different eerie looking women. I took pictures of a bunch…they’ll probably work their way onto this blog sooner or later. And if you still haven’t checked out the site, go over to Tympanogram now and check out their post on the show as well as every other post they’ve written. Great guys over there. Great guys.

And thank you to everyone that came out to our show last night at Santo’s Party House run by Rethink Pop Music. Thanks to Bob and Ben for putting on the show and a big shout out to Aviation Orange, The Vanguard and Eat Sugar for playing. All great sets.

So last night we were in Rochester for the Tympanogram birthday...

So last night we were in Rochester for the Tympanogram birthday show, and I must say, after our second visit to the fine town, not only are the people there beyond accommodating (shout-out to Mark for letting us sleep in his house, and everyone who provided us with air mattresses), but they all just seem to really care about underground music, and that is a great thing for us. Actually, it is a great thing for everyone.

We got to see our buddy Danny Rose of SHAPES acclaim, which was unexpected and a real treat. He played with Walri for a bit, and they laid down some killer tunes.

The trip took a turn in the eleventh hour as the car Mike and Spencer were riding in broke down on the way home, costing us a decent amount of our funds. At least we had a good time at the show!

Anyway, if you don’t check into Tympanogram, you ought to, at www.tympanogram.com , because they are a great way to hear about new music, and they are just great guys in general.

I want to thank everyone for coming out last night. What an insane place that Shea Stadium is. Seriously.

And congratulations to Shapes on releasing a helluva EP.

because of this desire, we unfortunately have to move TPP to another date. as soon as Jimmy from the Firehouse wakes up, we will get a date for you guys.

this is really depressing but everything will be ok. go have fun in the snow and save your cans.

Once Again, Welcome To The Tumblr

Hello everyone

I only want to take a second to address this and not make it too much of a big deal but we are once again back on Tumblr! Our previous site was run through a Blogger service and as I’m sure most of you have heard, that service will be shutting down come March. Fortunately this along with some other altercations didn’t destroy our website like it did for a number of other blogs. So because of that we have decided to revert back to our old stompin’ grounds, the Tumblr. I’m not going to lie, It feels like we never really left.

If anything this will make it easier for us to blog more frequently.

Also, I just wanted to thank Jillian Adel for creating our last website and everything she did for it. It was a great site. We’re all sad to see it go. (The rest of you should check out her portfolio here!)

So yeah, hopefully this one can last! I hear Pitchfork has been running around and stealing some Tumblr pages. Boy that would really suck.
