They were on their way to a show recently, driving in their van along the highway, presumably having a great time being in a band, until they realized that the ENGINE WAS ON FIRE. They were able to escape the vehicle before the entire thing was consumed by <a title="flames" target="_self" href="http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs282.snc4/40450_10150241053565442_735940441_13927936_7039722_n.jpg">flames</a>. They were not able, however, to rescue their equipment, which was <a title="less-than-usable" target="_self" href="http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs224.snc4/38527_10150241055950442_735940441_13927973_5472922_n.jpg">less-than-usable</a> by the time the aforementioned flames were extinguished.</p> <p>If you click the picture you’ll be taken to their myspace, where you can link to a Paypal account set up for them. Some demos have been cooked up… we’re up on the NME site… and “My Parents Lied” was used as the theme song for MTV’s “<a title="Baby High" target="_blank" href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/538560/tapp.jhtml#id=1643765">Baby High</a>”. That was pretty crazy.</p> <p>Don’t forget, we’ll be at Brooklyn Bowl this coming Monday, the 26th. I am thoroughly excited to play this venue, because you can go bowling in the venue. Thats right. Bowling. The Magic Stick in Detroit had a similar setup, but their bowling alley was on a different floor. This bowling alley is right next to the stage. Both shows felt really good, although during neither show did I sing our 4th song in tune. But whatevvvssss guyssss its a rocknroll parttyyyyyyy</p> <p>Bear Hands and Jetpacks both put on an incredible live show. Seriously, if you have not seen either of those bands, do so as soon as you can.
