That one was way too easy.

We closed out our 2-date tour with We Were Promised Jetpacks (henceforth referred to as “Jetpacks” or “WWPJ”) and Bear Hands last night in Baltimore, after having played West Chester, PA the day before, and I will say, it was a wholesome and life-affirming two days. Both shows felt really good, although during neither show did I sing our 4th song in tune. But whatevvvssss guyssss its a rocknroll parttyyyyyyy

Bear Hands and Jetpacks both put on an incredible live show. Seriously, if you have not seen either of those bands, do so as soon as you can. My dad has been talking about WWPJ for the longest time, especially after seeing them live in NYC not too long ago, and talking about how our sounds compliment each other nicely, especially on their song Quiet Little Voices, which is the jam.

In closing, I’m pretty sure I saw the female half of Wye Oak at the show, which is pretty cool, ESPECIALLY because she is the female vocalist who appears on “To Old Friends and New” by Titus Andronicus, which is also the jam, in a slow-jam kind of way.

Best of luck to our new buddies Bear Hands and We Were Promised Jetpacks as they continue their tour through the American wilderness!
